Sodashi 2.0 : An Ode to the Unstoppable Spirit of Women

Commemorating International Women’s Day, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Mohali, proudly celebrated the achievements of over 100 remarkable women educationists from various educational institutions of the region, at its annual event “Sodashi – A Celebration of Womanhood”. The special recognition ceremony took place at the college campus on 6th March 2024, highlighting Gian Jyoti Group’s commitment to honouring and empowering women in leadership roles.

Sodashi, meaning purity in Sanskrit, symbolized the essence of womanhood – strength, resilience, and grace. This year’s event was committed to recognizing and celebrating these qualities in women, both within the educational community and beyond.

The event served as a platform to pay tribute to these exemplary women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and innovation in their roles as educationists. Their tireless efforts have played a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of the region and nurturing the next generation of leaders.

Ms. Pooja S Grewal, PCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Rupnagar, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Her presence at the event served as a source of inspiration for the attendees, particularly the young women aspiring to make a difference in their respective fields.
