NCC Flag Day Celebration

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, celebrated NCC Flag Day on 15 July 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The programme was organized by the GJIMT NCC Unit to commemorate the ideals of discipline, leadership, unity, and selfless service upheld by the National Cadet Corps.

The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the NCC Flag, followed by the NCC Song, creating an atmosphere of pride and patriotism. NCC cadets participated with exemplary discipline and dedication. An awareness session highlighted the significance of the NCC Flag and emphasized the role of the National Cadet Corps in nurturing leadership, character, national integration, and a spirit of service among the youth.

The programme inspired participants to strengthen their commitment to the NCC motto, “Unity and Discipline,” while encouraging them to contribute positively to society and the nation. The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, leaving the participants motivated to uphold the ideals of patriotism, responsibility, and teamwork.
