Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, observed National Tourism Day with a vibrant photography competition titled “Mera Bharat Through the Lens”, organized by the Yuva Tourism Club. The event aimed to promote tourism awareness, creativity, and national pride among students.
A total of 35 students enthusiastically participated in the photography competition, along with the support of 5 faculty members. Students showcased India’s rich cultural heritage, scenic destinations, traditions, and diversity through their photographic expressions, highlighting the spirit of Incredible India.
The observance encouraged students to appreciate India’s tourism potential and understand the role of responsible and sustainable tourism. The event successfully fostered creativity, visual storytelling, and awareness about India’s cultural and natural wealth.
