Drug De-Addiction Seminar at GJIMT

Date: 10 August 2026
Venue: Conference Room, GJIMT Campus

The Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) Universal Human Values Cell in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club organised an Addiction-Free Awareness and National Pledge Programme under the 10 Crore Addiction-Free Pledge Mega Campaign, in association with the local chapter of Brahma Kumaris. The programme aimed to create awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encourage students to adopt a healthy, positive, and value-based lifestyle.

The session witnessed the active participation of over 150 students. Students also participated in a Rajyoga meditation session and took the Addiction-Free National Pledge, committing themselves to staying away from substance abuse and spreading awareness among others. Faculty members supported and facilitated the successful conduct of the programme.

The initiative reinforced GJIMT’s commitment towards promoting an Addiction-Free, Healthy and Viksit Bharat and encouraging responsible and healthy lifestyles among youth.
