Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) organised its Annual Indoor Sports Championship 2026 under the FIT India initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The championship provided students with an opportunity to participate in competitive sporting activities while promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, healthy competition, and holistic development as an integral part of campus life. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 150+ students.
The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation and concluded with commendable performances across various events. In Table Tennis Doubles, Akarshit (B.Com 5) and Pramath (MBA 3) secured the winning title, while Aditya (BBA 3) and Gurdev (BBA 3) were the runners-up. In Table Tennis Singles, Aditya (BBA 3) emerged as the winner, with Akarshit (B.Com 5) securing the runner-up position.
In Chess, Harsh (MCA 3) won the competition, while Sumit (BBA 1) was the runner-up. In Carom, Prakash (BBA 3) emerged as the winner, with Bobby Singh (BCA 1) finishing as runner-up. In Push-Ups, Ansh (BCA 5) secured first place, while Preetinder (BBA 5) secured the runner-up position.
