SadbhawnaDiwas – “Clothes & Footwear Donation Drive”

On the occasion of SadbhawnaDiwas, (Birth Anniversary of Sh Rajiv Gandhi, Former PM of India), the NCC Unit, NSS Wing and Rotaract Club of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology (GJIMT), Phase-2, Mohali, organized a “Clothes & Footwear Donation Drive” at village Madanpura, Mohali, on 20 August 2026. The initiative aimed to promote the values of compassion, harmony, goodwill, empathy, and social responsibility by extending support to members of the local community.

The programme reflected the spirit of SadbhawnaDiwas by bringing together the values of kindness, social harmony, and community welfare. It also encouraged students to actively contribute towards noble social causes and develop a stronger sense of empathy and responsibility towards society.

The activity witnessed the active participation of NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, Rotaract Club members, and faculty members, who contributed to the successful conduct of the donation drive.
