The Eco Club of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) organized an E-Waste Awareness Drive on 27 August 2026 to create awareness about the harmful effects of electronic waste and promote responsible environmental practices among students and staff.
The activity focused on the importance of proper e-waste management and highlighted the environmental and health concerns associated with improper disposal of electronic waste. Participants were also encouraged to adopt sustainable and eco-friendly practices and develop a greater sense of environmental responsibility.
As part of the awareness activity, students showcased posters highlighting environmental concerns, their effects, and possible solutions, providing a creative and engaging way to communicate important messages related to pollution and environmental protection.
The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, who actively engaged in the awareness activity and demonstrated keen interest in promoting a cleaner and healthier environment.
The initiative successfully reinforced the importance of responsible waste management, sustainable practices, and collective efforts towards environmental conservation.
