The Entrepreneurship Development Club of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), celebrated National Entrepreneurship Day on 14th August 2026 with enthusiasm and active participation from students.
The session aimed to encourage students to explore entrepreneurship as a meaningful career pathway and develop an entrepreneurial mindset based on innovation, creativity, leadership, and calculated risk-taking. An interactive discussion on “Entrepreneurship: The Need of the Hour” highlighted the role of entrepreneurs in generating employment, promoting innovation-led growth, strengthening the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, and creating economic and social value.
The programme provided students with an opportunity to understand the growing relevance of entrepreneurship in today’s dynamic economic environment. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to think creatively, identify opportunities, and develop confidence in pursuing innovative ideas and entrepreneurial ventures.
