The 16th International Conference – GJ IntConMITE on the theme “Challenges of Changing Patterns in a Borderless World” was held on July 29, 2022, organized by Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali.
Sh. J.S. Bedi, Chairman, GJIMT, welcomed Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Vashisht, Dean Research, Maharshi Agrasen University, and praised the participants for their contributions to the knowledge pool. The conference attracted 300 national and international participants, with 70+ researchers from academia and industry. Over 60 research papers were presented in the online mode, covering a wide range of academic and industry-focused topics.
The 15th GJ IntConMITE International Conference on “Survive, Revive, Thrive – Key to Resilient Organizations” was held on May 14, 2021, at GJIMT, Mohali.
Keynote speaker Mr. Jeremy Sabell, President, Stenberg College, Canada, discussed strategies for organizational resilience post-COVID, emphasizing Innovation, Adaptation, and Evolution. With 200+ participants from Nepal, Ghana, Georgia, Canada, and India, the event featured 30 research presentations covering key business topics like economy, finance, IT, and HR. The discussions offered actionable insights for navigating the post-COVID business environment.
The 14th International Conference – GJ IntConMITE 2020 was held on July 30, 2020, in the form of a virtual panel discussion organized by Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali. It was North India’s first fully online international conference panel discussion.
Keynote speakers Dr. Puja Chabra Sharma, Mr. Shad Ahmad Khan, and Dr. Arjita Jain shared insights on adapting to the post-COVID “new normal.” Discussions centered on HR strategy shifts, proactive governance, and maintaining mental well-being during challenging times.
Participants from Oman, Czech Republic, Serbia, Uganda, and across India actively engaged in the event. Sh. J.S. Bedi, Chairman, GJIMT, welcomed all participants, and Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT, delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of speakers and the organizing team.
The 13th International Conference – GJ IntConMITE 2019 on “Recent Innovations and Emerging Trends in Business Management and Information Technology” was held on May 28, 2019, at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali.
A total of 28 research papers were received, with 18 papers selected for presentation after a blind peer review. Researchers from reputed institutes, including Saudi Arabia, Panjab University, and Lovely Professional University, presented innovative research on emerging trends.
The 12th International Conference on “How Entrepreneurs Impact an Economy” was held at Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh, organized by Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali. Mr. Andrew Ayre, British Deputy High Commissioner, Chandigarh, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the role of entrepreneurs in driving economic growth and improving standards of living.
Mr. J.S. Bedi, Chairman, GJIMT, highlighted the importance of entrepreneurial ventures in generating wealth, creating jobs, and contributing to national income. The 11th International Conference – GJ IntConMITE 2017 on “Management, Information Technology, and Engineering” was held on March 18, 2017, organized by Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali. Mr. J.B. Singh, President, TiE Chandigarh, was the chief guest.
