Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology (GJIMT) celebrated Independence Day on 15 August 2026 with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and a deep sense of national pride. The celebration was organized by the NCC Unit and NSS Unit, with the active participation of students and faculty members.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, guests, faculty members, and students, followed by a parade and salute by the NCC Cadets.
The programme commenced with an inspiring opening address, followed by a parade by the NCC Cadets. The celebrations were further elevated by captivating cultural performances. Students and faculty showcased their love for the nation through energetic dance performances and soul-stirring patriotic songs. A patriotic poem and speeches further highlighted the significance of Independence Day, the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, and the responsibilities of citizens towards the nation.
The NCC Cadets presented a rousing group rendition of the NCC Song, “Hum Sab BharatiyaHain,” which added to the patriotic fervour and reflected the values of unity, discipline, and national integration.
The celebration concluded on a solemn and reverent note with the entire gathering rendering the National Anthem (RashtraGaan) in unison, followed by the distribution of sweets. The programme successfully instilled a renewed sense of patriotism, unity, discipline, and national pride among all participant.
