GJIMT Celebrates Baisakhi with “PagVich Pride” – A Vibrant Turban Tying Competition

GJIMT celebrated Baisakhi with great enthusiasm by organizing a Turban Tying Competition titled “PagVich Pride” under the aegis of the Cultural Committee. The event aimed to promote the rich cultural heritage of Punjab, where the turban symbolizes pride, honor, and identity.

A total of 20 students actively participated in the competition, showcasing creativity, skill, and traditional values through diverse styles of turban tying. Participants were given different themes, allowing them to present unique techniques and styles.

The competition witnessed impressive performances, and winners were recognized under various categories:

  • Royal Look Award:Avneet Singh (BCA 1st Year)

  • Swag Wale Sardaar:Ekamjot Singh (MBA 1st Year)
  • DilJeetLeya Award:Harshpreet Singh (BCA 3rd Year)
