Rotary Club Mohali and Rotaract Club GJIMT in association with Multispeciality Max Hospital Mohali organized a ‘Free Multispeciality Health Checkup Camp’ at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase-2, Mohali. Mr. J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group was the Chief Guest on the occasion. RtnSukhpreet S. Giani, President, Rotary Club Mohali was organizing the event and was guiding the Rotaractors of Gian Jyoti Institute to help the patients.
The health checkup was organized by Multispeciality experts from Max Hospital which includes Dr. Manju Wadhwa (Orthopedics Expert), Dr. Amit Gupta (Cardiology Expert), Dr. Seema Sharma (Gynecology Expert) and Dr. Vinod Singh Sachdeva (Internal Medicine). In the camp free tests of blood sugar, bone mass densitometry, spirometry (lung function tests), PFT and ECG were also provided.
Over 300 families, students and staff of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology got examined during the camp. It is important for people to commit themselves for a healthier life. The citizens should develop a habit of comprehensive health check-up on a regular basis.
