The Rotaract Club of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) organized a Financial Literacy Awareness Drive at Government Model Sr. Sec. School, Sector 37D, Chandigarh with the objective of promoting awareness about digital financial practices and encouraging safe financial habits among students and the local community.

The awareness drive focused on educating participants about digital payment methods, internet banking, mobile wallets, ATM services, online money transfers, and the safe use of digital financial platforms. Special emphasis was laid on cyber safety practices, including protecting OTPs, maintaining strong passwords, identifying fraudulent links and calls, and ensuring secure online transactions.

The session was conducted in an interactive and informative manner, where participants actively engaged in discussions and clarified their doubts related to digital banking and financial security. The initiative helped in enhancing financial awareness and digital confidence among the attendees while also encouraging students to contribute towards community welfare and social responsibility.

Around 50 students and 4 faculty members participated in the awareness drive. The event concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and positive learning outcomes for all attendees.
