Voter Enrolment and Registration Awareness: An Interaction with the Election Officer

GJIMT Electoral Literacy Club organised a Voter Enrolment and Electoral Awareness Session for newly admitted students aged 18 years and above. The session was conducted by the District Election Office-cum-Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar, under the guidance of Mr. Gurbakshish Singh, District Nodal Officer, SVEEP.

The session familiarised students with voter registration procedures, eligibility requirements, Special Intensive Revision (SIR), and mobile-based registration facilities. The importance of exercising voting rights responsibly was also emphasised. Campus Election Ambassadors were appointed to further promote voter awareness and support eligible students in completing their enrolment.
