The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of GJIMT celebrated International Labor Day on 30th April 2026 with the objective of recognizing the invaluable contributions of workers and promoting awareness about their rights, dignity, and role in society.
The programme featured an informative and engaging session focusing on the significance of Labor Day, highlighting key aspects such as workers’ rights, fair labor practices, and the importance of creating a respectful and equitable work environment.
The session encouraged students to reflect on the importance of labor in nation-building and to develop a sense of respect and gratitude towards the workforce. Participants actively engaged in discussions, sharing their views and gaining a deeper understanding of social responsibility and ethical practices related to labor.
