World Earth Day Celebrated at GJIMT

The Eco Club of GJIMT celebrated World Earth Day with great enthusiasm by organizing a Poster Making Competition on the theme “Innovative Solutions for Future.” The event aimed to create awareness about environmental sustainability and inspire students to adopt eco-friendly practices.

A total of 48 students and 5 faculty members participated in the activity. Students showcased remarkable creativity by presenting innovative ideas focused on environmental conservation, waste management, and reducing plastic pollution.

To further reinforce the message of sustainability, participants took a Zero Plastic Pledge, committing to minimize the use of single-use plastics, promote recycling, and adopt responsible consumption habits in their daily lives.

Winners of the Poster Making Competition:

• 1st Position: Ritisha (BCA VI)
• 2nd Position: Anjali Singla (BCA IV)
• 3rd Position: Updesh (BCA IV)

Overall, the event was highly engaging and impactful, encouraging students to think creatively and take meaningful steps towards building a greener and more sustainable future.
