The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in association with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, Government of India of GJIMT organized a session on “Design Thinking and Innovation for Sustainable Solutions” to mark World Creativity and Innovation Day. The session aimed to promote creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students.
The discussion highlighted the importance of creativity as a skill developed through curiosity and observation, and innovation as a means to address real-world challenges and create value for society.
Students were encouraged to think beyond conventional approaches, identify gaps in their surroundings, and develop practical and scalable solutions. The session also focused on fostering design thinking, critical analysis, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
