The Electoral Literacy Club of GJIMT organized a SVEEP Awareness Session to educate students about the importance of ethical voting and active participation in the democratic process.
The session focused on key aspects of the Indian electoral system, including voter registration, use of EVMs, and the significance of casting a responsible vote. Students were also informed about the NOTA (None of the Above) option, highlighting its role in promoting transparency and discouraging unfair voting practices.
Interactive discussions and real-life examples helped clarify students’ doubts regarding voter ID, electoral procedures, and ethical voting practices. The session encouraged students to take responsibility as informed citizens and motivate others to participate in elections.
