The Fit India Club of GJIMT, under the FIT India initiative of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India, organized a Self-Defence Training Session to equip students with essential skills and techniques for personal safety and physical fitness. The session aimed to create awareness about the importance of self-protection and to build confidence among students in handling challenging situations.
During the training, GJIMT NCC Cadets demonstrated practical self-defence tactics that can be applied in everyday situations. Students were introduced to basic defensive postures, techniques to escape from grips, methods to maintain balance, and strategies to respond effectively in threatening circumstances.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 50 students. The programme proved to be highly informative and empowering, promoting safety awareness, confidence, and overall fitness among students.
