Cross–Cultural Communication in a Globalized World

GJIMT organized a special session on “Cross–Cultural Communication in a Globalized World”, aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of cultural diversity and strengthening their global communication competencies. The one day session was jointly organized by the GJIMT Skill Development Cell in collaboration with GJIMTHR Club.

The session was conducted by Dean Academics, Dr.Neeraj Sharma, who shared insights on cultural differences, communication barriers, cultural intelligence, and expectations within global workplaces.

Participants engaged in interactive discussions and activities that highlighted the importance of adapting communication styles, respecting diverse perspectives, and developing intercultural awareness. The session emphasized practical skills required to navigate multicultural professional environments effectively.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 58 students and 10 faculty members.
This initiative helped our students broaden their global mindset and improve interpersonal communication skills essential for success in an interconnected world.
