GJIMT NSS Volunteers Conduct Cleanliness Drive under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

As part of the nationwide Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and GJIMT’s ongoing commitment to community service and environmental health, NSS volunteers organized a Cleanliness Drive on March 19, 2025, in the Phase-2 market area outside the campus.

During the drive, volunteers enthusiastically took to the streets, cleaning the campus vicinity and nearby areas. They actively picked up litter, swept public pathways, and interacted with members of the local community to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. The activity aimed to reinforce the message of “Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat” — Clean India, Healthy India.

Purpose of the Event:

• To promote cleanliness, hygiene, and responsible civic behavior among students and the surrounding community.
• To raise awareness about the vital role cleanliness plays in ensuring a healthy and sustainable society.

This initiative not only fostered a sense of social responsibility among the participants but also served as a reminder of how small collective actions can lead to significant positive change in our environment and society.
