GJIMT Organizes “Clean and Green Environment Awareness” Wall Painting Activity in Villages

As part of GJIMT’s ongoing commitment to promoting environmental consciousness, a “Clean and Green Environment Awareness” Wall Painting Activity was conducted on March 10, 2025, by our students in the villages of Ballomajra and Jagatpura, Mohali.

This community outreach initiative aimed to sensitize villagers to the importance of maintaining a clean and green environment. Students used visually engaging and informative wall paintings to communicate key environmental messages, turning village walls into vibrant canvases promoting sustainability.

The primary objectives of the event were:

• To create widespread awareness about pressing environmental issues and their impact.
• To educate the local community on sustainable practices, including effective waste management and energy conservation.

Through their creativity and commitment, the students not only beautified public spaces but also inspired positive behavioral change within the communities. This initiative reflects GJIMT’s dedication to environmental stewardship and its mission to foster socially responsible citizens.
