To celebrate World Youth Skills Day Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) organized a 10 days long free “Workshop on developing an online eShop by using PHP”.
Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT while inaugurating the workshop said that, with a view to create awareness in IT field, to provide skills for their daily life and also as part of Corporate Social Responsibility, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology initiated a course on “Web Development using PHP” platform.
on the completion of this course that students would have technical skills in installing and using Linux servers, creating websites with PHP and using MySQL database and finally create a small eShop of their own. This in long way would enhance their employability.
