The Red Ribbon Club of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) commemorated World Red Cross Day on 08 May 2026 by organizing an awareness seminar based on the theme “United in Humanity.” The event was conducted with the objective of promoting humanitarian values, social responsibility, healthcare awareness, and the spirit of voluntary service among students.
The seminar highlighted the significance of compassion, unity, blood donation, first aid awareness, and the vital role played by volunteers and healthcare workers during emergencies and humanitarian crises. The session encouraged students to understand the importance of community welfare and inspired them to actively contribute towards building a caring and responsible society.
Students enthusiastically participated in the interactive activities and discussions, which focused on teamwork, empathy, and service to humanity. The programme created awareness about the values and mission of the Red Cross movement and motivated participants to adopt a spirit of kindness, cooperation, and social commitment in their daily lives.
