GJIMT observed World AIDS Day with the aim of spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS and promoting a positive, stigma-free outlook toward individuals living with the disease. The event is organized by Rotaract , NCC, NSS & Red Ribbon Club. The event saw active participation from 40 students and 8 faculty members, reflecting strong support and commitment to the cause.
The program commenced with an insightful introductory session on the significance of World AIDS Day. This was followed by an awareness talk that emphasized HIV prevention, key facts about transmission, and the importance of compassion and social responsibility. Students also engaged in interactive discussions, encouraging open dialogue and deeper understanding of the topic.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of all participating clubs and volunteers. The observance successfully fostered awareness, responsibility, and sensitivity among the student community.
