Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Mohali observed the nation’s 73rd Republic Day at its campus with all the staff, faculty members and NCC cadets in presence of members of the college management board. On this occasion, Mr. J. S. Bedi, Chairman, GJIMT hoisted the national flag to mark the occasion and paid his tribute towards the nation and all its great leaders. In his address, Mr. Bedi said that the youth of our nation must recognize and acknowledge the contribution and struggle of all the great leaders due to which we all are breathing in free air today. He said as a citizen it is our prime duty to respect our nation’s constitution which binds us all together as one entity in spite of innumerable diversifications. Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT, on this occasion, addressed the students and conveyed her message to work towards the growth and development of society and nation and pay our tribute in a real sense. The students of all the classes joined the celebrations through virtual mode from their own places.
