NSS (National Service Scheme) Wing – GJIMT

The NSS Club at GJIMT provides students with a platform to actively contribute to community welfare and social development. Through various initiatives, students engage in activities that promote cleanliness, environmental awareness, health, and social responsibility.

Key activities include:

• Community Awareness Programs: Campaigns such as Clean & Green initiatives and social awareness drives.
• Health & Wellness Drives: Health check-ups, vaccination camps, and nutritional awareness programs for communities.
• Donation Drives: Collection and distribution of toys, shoes, winter clothes, and even essential items like tubelights for underprivileged communities.
• Blood Donation Drives: Organizing and participating in life-saving events to promote a culture of giving.
• Creative Outreach: Flash mobs, cultural events, and campaigns to engage and educate the community.
• Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA): Under UBA, GJIMT has adopted five villages in Mohali Tehsil – Daun, Jagatpura, BalloMajra, Bar Majra, and Kambala – where students implement development projects, awareness programs, and sustainable solutions for rural welfare.

Participation in the NSS Club helps students develop leadership, teamwork, and a sense of social responsibility, preparing them to be proactive citizens who make a positive impact on society.
