Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, solemnly observed Martyrs’ Day to pay heartfelt tribute to the brave freedom fighters and national heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The commemoration was organized by GJIMTNCC with the aim of instilling values of patriotism, courage, and selfless service among the youth.
The observance included reflective speeches, a moment of silence, and collective remembrance of the ideals of truth, unity, and nationalism. The programme served as a reminder of the responsibilities of citizens toward upholding the values for which the martyrs laid down their lives.
A total of40 NCC Cadets actively participated in the commemoration, along with 6 faculty members, making the event meaningful and dignified. The observance concluded with a pledge to honor the sacrifices of the martyrs by contributing positively to the nation.
