Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, successfully organized a full-day workshop onHands-On Workshop on “Creating and Optimizing ORCID ID” under the coordination of the Research Development Cell. The workshop aimed to enhance awareness about the significance of ORCID ID in academic and research profiling.
The session provided practical exposure on creating an ORCID iD, linking publications, affiliations, and grants, and optimizing researcher profiles to improve global visibility and credibility. Emphasis was laid on accurate attribution of scholarly work and strengthening research impact.
All faculty members participated actively in the workshop, making it an informative and skill-oriented learning experience. The initiative contributed effectively to promoting a strong research culture and digital academic identity among participants.
