To mark World Nature Conservation Day, students and faculty at GJIMT came together for a hands-on, meaningful celebration organized by the GJIMT Eco Club and GJIMTNSS Unit.
The day started with a tree plantation drive across the campus, where participants planted saplings to promote a greener environment.
An interactive awareness session followed, focusing on the need to conserve vital natural resources like water, air, soil, and forests. The lush GJIMT campus, which attracts a variety of birds and supports local biodiversity, served as a perfect reminder of why such efforts matter.
The event left the GJIMT students and faculty more aware, more connected to nature, and inspired to protect the planet — not just today, but every day.
