Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), under the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized an impactful awareness campaign themed “Say No to Drugs.” The initiative aimed to educate and empower youth by shedding light on the harmful effects of drug abuse.
The campaign featured a series of engaging activities, including a poster-making followed by rally drive, conducted in the residential areas of Phase-2, Mohali. Students actively participated in spreading awareness, reaching out to the community with strong visual messages and slogans against drug use.
Through discussions and interactive sessions, the participants explored the physical, mental, and social consequences of substance abuse. They also developed practical strategies to resist peer pressure, helping them make informed, healthy choices.
The campaign was further supported by informative materials and open forums, encouraging honest conversations about addiction and recovery. These efforts aimed to foster resilience, self-awareness, and long-term well-being, motivating the youth to lead drug-free, purposeful lives.
GJIMT’s NSS unit remains committed to social responsibility, and this initiative was a meaningful step toward building a healthier, more conscious society.
