Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology (GJIMT), organised an Organ Donation Awareness Session on 3rd September 2026 in association with the SudhirReemaDewan Foundation (SRDF). The session aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of organ donation and encourage informed participation in this noble cause.
The session was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. ReemaDewan, Founder, SudhirReemaDewan Foundation, who shared valuable insights into the importance and impact of organ donation. The central message, “One Donor Can Save Multiple Lives,” highlighted how one individual’s decision can provide a second chance at life to several people awaiting transplants.
The speakers also discussed the ground realities of organ donation in India and addressed common facts and myths associated with the process. Information regarding the facilitation available at PGI Chandigarh was also shared to help participants understand the institutional support and guidance available for organ donation.
