Date: 02 September 2026

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology (GJIMT), proudly crossed the milestone of 900 kg of plastic waste collected and segregated under the IPCA–Project D.R.O.P. initiative. As recognition of this achievement, the IPCA and Kia team awarded four benches, each made from more than 90 kg of recycled plastic waste.

Students, faculty members, support staff and the helper team actively contributed to the successful collection and segregation drive. The initiative promoted environmental responsibility, waste management and sustainable practices across the Gian Jyoti campus.

The achievement reflects the institution’s continued commitment to environmental conservation and inspires the entire campus community to keep collecting, segregating and contributing towards a cleaner and greener future.
