Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), in collaboration with Canadore College, North Bay, Ontario, Canada, organised an expert session on “Global Strategy in the Digital Age” for students of MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA and B.Com (Hons.). The session was attended by approximately 170–180 students and focused on global business strategies, digital transformation and international education opportunities.
Ms. Jeannette Miron, the key speaker, highlighted how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping global business strategies, the importance of digital adaptability and innovation, and emerging employment opportunities in Canada, particularly in North Bay, Ontario. The session also provided insights into Canadian higher education pathways and career prospects.
The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic student participation, with students raising questions about AI, future employment opportunities, global careers and preparation for an AI-driven workplace. The programme provided students with a valuable global perspective and practical insights into international education and career opportunities.
