Convocation ceremony for NCC cadets of GJIMT

A convocation ceremony for NCC cadets, a first of its kind in the state, who have successfully completed three years of rigorous training and have qualified for the ‘C’ certificate, was held at NCC Academy, Ropar. Convocation ceremony of NCC C certificate passes outs for the batch 2016-19 of 3 PB INDP. COY NCC  Patiala, Punjab directorate held  at NCC Academy, ROPAR under the umbrella of 3 PB INDP. COY NCC and 23 PUNJAB BT NCC Ropar. In this ceremony 4 NCC cadets of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology NCC Unit was awarded CEE certificate with ‘A’ GRADE. Col. B.P.S. Thakur Commanding officer 23 PUNJAB NCC Coy Ropar, along with Lt. Col. Manish, 3 PB (Indp.) Coy NCC ROPAR presided over the function.

Mr. J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology congratulated all the cadets said that Senior Under Officer Sandeep Kumar of BCA, Under Officer Amit Kumar of BCA, Cadet Jaskaran of BCA and Cadet Ishant of BCA was awarded CEE certificate with ‘A’ GRADE. Outstanding associate NCC officers and NCC instructors were also given prizes on the occasion. The award winning cadets in various categories were selected on the basis of their performance during their training. The convocation was attended by ANO’s of different Colleges, Mr. Bedi added.

Mr. Bedi also motivated the NCC cadets to pursue noble causes for the development of the country as NCC cadets can be prepared as a resource force for emergency and they can aim to join the Indian forces as their careers.
