Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) organized a “Say No to Drugs” Awareness and Prevention Seminar on 18th August 2026 through GJIMT Universal Human Values Cell. The session aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage them to adopt a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
The interactive session focused on “Why Drugs Are Harmful”, highlighting the impact of substance abuse on brain health, the risks of addiction, impaired judgment, and the legal consequences associated with drug-related activities under the NDPS Act. The programme encouraged students to make responsible choices, stay away from substance abuse, and contribute towards building a healthier and safer society.
The seminar witnessed active participation from students and faculty members, who engaged enthusiastically in the interactive discussions and gained valuable insights into the harmful effects of drug abuse, prevention strategies, and the importance of maintaining a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
