The Career Guidance and Development Cell of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, organized an informative session on “UGC NET & Ph.D. – Your Gateway to Research and Academia” on 13 August 2026. The session aimed to create awareness among students and to encourage them to explore careers in research and academia.
The session provided valuable insights into the significance of UGC NET, pathways to doctoral research, and the opportunities available in higher education and academic careers. The initiative encouraged students to consider research-oriented career pathways and develop a deeper understanding of the academic opportunities available to them.
The programme was successfully conducted as a Career Guidance and Development Cell activity and served as a meaningful initiative towards enhancing students’ awareness of higher education, research, and career opportunities.
