Session on Emerging Careers in Commerce

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, organized an informative session on “Emerging Careers in Commerce” to guide students toward diverse career opportunities in the commerce domain. The session was conducted under the Career Guidance and Development Cell.

The programme was organized for students of B.Com (Hons.) II, IV & VI semesters and focused on creating awareness about evolving career avenues after commerce education, industry trends, and future prospects. The session encouraged interaction, curiosity, and career-oriented thinking among students, followed by an engaging question-and-answer segment.

A total of 54 students participated actively in the session, with the involvement of 4 faculty members, making the event interactive and insightful. The initiative proved beneficial in broadening students’ understanding of career planning and professional growth in the field of commerce.
