National Girl Child Day Celebration at GJIMT

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, celebrated National Girl Child Day with the aim of promoting gender equality and encouraging education and empowerment of the girl child. The programme was organized by the Women Empowerment Committee and witnessed the participation of 20 students and 4 faculty members.

As part of the outreach initiative, students actively interacted with the community in nearby market areas and spread awareness about the importance of educating and empowering girls. Educational stationery, winter gloves, and chocolates were distributed to underprivileged girls, conveying a strong message of care, equality, and social responsibility.

The activity reinforced GJIMT’s commitment to creating awareness about women’s rights and fostering a society where every girl is valued, educated, and empowered.
