GJIMT Signs Strategic Collaboration with NISM | Expert Talk on Career Opportunities in the Securities Market

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) has proudly achieved another significant milestone by entering into a strategic collaboration with the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). This collaboration was formalized with the signing of a Letter of Understanding (LOU) on Thursday, 11th September 2025.

NISM, an institute established by SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India), is dedicated to enhancing knowledge, professional standards, and opportunities in India’s securities markets. This partnership is a step toward advancing financial literacy and providing GJIMT students with valuable industry exposure.

This signing ceremony was followed by an Expert Talk on Career Opportunities in the Securities Market & Role of NISM by Mr. Subhayu Das, Assistant General Manager, NISM

This engaging session witnessed participation from MBA I, MBA III, and B.Com Hons V students, with a total of 48 students in attendance. It proved to be highly enriching for both students and faculty, covering the following key areas:

• Various career paths in the securities market
• How NISM certifications and training enhance employability and credibility
• NISM’s role in research, regulation, education, and capacity building in financial markets
• A live demonstration of trading via the BSE portal
