On 30th July 2025, the Electoral Literacy Club of GJIMT hosted the Ballot Bistro Competition—a platform for students to express their views on the power of voting through sharp, impactful speeches on the theme “My Vote, My Power: Why Every Vote Counts.”
The event witnessed spirited participation from students of BCA V, BCA III, and BBA III. Participants shared strong viewpoints on civic duty, the value of each vote, and the importance of youth engagement in the democratic process. A stimulating Q&A round led by the faculty judges encouraged deeper reflection and dialogue.
Winners of the competition:
Shivang Raturi (BCA-V B) – 1st Prize
Himanshu (BCA-III A) – 2nd Prize
Sneha Rajput (BCA-V B) – 3rd Prize
The panel of judges commended the clarity and conviction shown by the speakers. Winners were also offered leadership positions in the Electoral Literacy Club.
The event, coordinated jointly by NCC, NSS, and the Rotaract Club, successfully highlighted the importance of informed voting and encouraged students to take an active role in shaping the nation’s future.
