Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, organized an Open House (Teachers-Parents Meeting) on April 4, 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the collaboration between faculty and parents for the holistic development and success of its students. Held after the Mid-Semester Examinations, the meeting served as a key platform for meaningful dialogue regarding student progress, academic growth, and future opportunities.
The session focused on discussing various important aspects such as academic performance, strengths and areas for improvement, placement opportunities, career guidance, internship programs, and upcoming campus events and co-curricular activities. Parents were given insights into their child’s progress and the initiatives being taken by the institution to support their academic and professional journey.
Adding significant value to the session, Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director GJIMT, Prof. Gurdeepak Singh, Director – International Admission & Placement, and Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Dean Academics, personally interacted with the parents. They addressed their concerns, shared institutional plans for student development, and welcomed suggestions to further enhance the learning environment. Their presence and engagement with parents demonstrated the institute’s commitment to transparent communication and continuous improvement.
The Open House not only encouraged open dialogue and mutual understanding, but also reinforced the importance of joint efforts between home and institution in ensuring student success. The event was well-received by parents and faculty alike, marking another positive step in GJIMT’s mission to provide a supportive and inclusive educational experience.
