Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) celebrated National Voter’s Registration Day with the aim of creating awareness among students about the importance of voting in a democratic system. The event was organized by the Electoral Literacy Club to encourage informed, responsible, and active participation of youth in the electoral process.
The programme featured student speeches highlighting the crucial role of young voters in strengthening democratic values and emphasizing the need for ethical and informed voting. A Voter’s Pledge Ceremony was also conducted, where participants pledged to uphold democratic principles and participate responsibly in elections.
The event witnessed the active participation of 60 students and 5 faculty members, making the celebration impactful and meaningful. The initiative successfully reinforced the spirit of democracy and civic responsibility among the GJIMT community.
