The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of GJIMT, in association with Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, celebrated National Science Day with enthusiasm to promote scientific thinking, innovation, and research culture among students. The student led celebration was organized in alignment with the national vision of encouraging innovation and academic excellence.
The theme for the year, “Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat,” highlighted the important contributions of women in the fields of science, technology, and research toward national development. During the session, the GJIMT IIC Innovation Ambassadors delivered an informative PowerPoint presentation showcasing the achievements and inspiring journeys of leading women scientists and their contributions to India’s progress.
A total of 30 students and 5 faculty members participated in the programme. The event successfully encouraged students to appreciate scientific advancements and reinforced the importance of innovation and research in building a progressive nation.
