GJIMT’s Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Entrepreneurship Development Club successfully organized an expert session on “Legal Essentials of Entrepreneurs: Start-ups and Compliance” aimed at providing insights into the legal and regulatory frameworks necessary for running start-ups efficiently.

The session provided a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental laws, regulatory requirements, and compliance obligations essential for aspiring entrepreneurs. Key topics discussed included:

• Selection of business structures and registration procedures
• Intellectual property rights and protection
• Taxation fundamentals
• Labour laws and employee regulations
• Contract essentials and risk management

The session aimed to equip participants with the legal knowledge required to establish compliant, sustainable, and successful enterprises.

The event witnessed active participation from 35 students and 10 faculty members, fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment.
