The Career Guidance and Development Cell, GJIMT successfully organized an Industrial Visit to Hindustan Times on Monday, 6th October 2025, for the students of BBA I A& B.
A total of 52 students and 4 faculty members participated in the visit, which aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the working environment of media houses and the processes involved in print and digital journalism.
During the visit, students were welcomed by Ms.Reena (HR) and her team. They were introduced to the operational workflow of the Hindustan Times, including printing and production, layout and design processes, and circulation and distribution systems. The session also covered key aspects such as printing technology, logistics, and advertising models, helping students understand the business dynamics of media organizations.
The visit offered valuable insights into the integration of print and digital media, editorial standards, and real-world challenges of newspaper production and distribution.
The experience proved to be highly enriching, marking another successful step in GJIMT’s effort to bridge classroom learning with industry exposure.
