A Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized at GJIMT in collaboration with the Blood Bank Resource Society Centre, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to social responsibility and community service. The camp was held within the campus premises, where all necessary arrangements were made to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for donors.
NSS, Rotaract Club, Red Ribbon Club and NSS volunteers played a vital role in managing the event — from handling registrations and guiding participants to offering support throughout the process. The medical team present at the venue conducted pre-donation health checkups to ensure donor eligibility and safety.
The drive saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff, who came forward to donate blood for this noble cause. In addition to donations, the event also aimed to raise awareness about the significance of regular blood donation, particularly in saving lives during medical emergencies.
To ensure donor comfort, refreshments were provided post-donation, allowing contributors to rest and recover in a relaxed setting.
The camp stood as a testament to the spirit of service and compassion nurtured at GJIMT, encouraging a culture of giving back to society.
