The Fit India Club of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), in association with MY Bharat, District SAS Nagar (Mohali), and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, successfully organized the District Sports Meet 2026, showcasing high energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The event featured various competitive activities including volleyball, badminton, tug of war, and 100-metre sprints, promoting physical fitness and healthy competition among participants. A total of 120 students from various institutes of Distt SAS Nagar actively participated in the meet.
The GJIMT team delivered an outstanding performance and proudly secured the Overall Trophy, marking a significant achievement for the institute. The event reflected systematic planning, discipline, and collaborative efforts by the organizing teams.
The Sports Meet concluded on a positive note, reinforcing the importance of fitness, unity, and sporting spirit among students.
