GJIMT Observes International Day Against Drug Abuse with Creative Youth Advocacy

To mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the NCC and NSS units of GJIMT came together to raise awareness through a poster-making competition that combined creativity with a strong social message.

Students crafted powerful visual narratives focusing on the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of building a drug-free society. What stood out was their ability to not only design compelling posters but also articulate the meaning behind their messages, touching upon themes of prevention, awareness, and the proactive role of youth in tackling substance abuse and illicit trafficking.

The event highlighted the institute’s commitment to social consciousness, youth engagement, and nurturing responsible citizens who actively contribute to the well-being of the community.
