Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology organizes Investors Awareness Program on Capital Market

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology in collaboration with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) organized Investors Awareness Program on “Capital Market” at GJIMT, Mohali.

Mr. J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology welcomed the guest speakers from SEBI, MSE & CDSL. While throwing light on the topic Mr. Bedi said that we believe that increasing awareness of the benefits of investment opportunities through training and education is a critical responsibility in our efforts to grow our markets.”

Speakers from National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) interacted with the students to educate them about the benefits of financial markets and to make them aware about opportunities to grow their wealth.

Mr. Jubin Mehta, AGM, SEBI was the Chief Guest on the occasion, Mr. Kayam Singh from MSE and Mr. Inderajit Singh from CDSL were the Guest of Honours on the occasion.

Mr. Jubin Mehta, AGM, SEBI while speaking on the occasion said that SEBI’s role is ensuring fair trade and monitoring the financial market. He further said that “Investors need to execute few mandatory and voluntary documents with a member broker. They must read them and should know the ‘do’s and don’ts’ of investing while entering the market”, they said during the interaction.
